| Oconee Regional Healthcare Foundation will hold 2nd Annual Old Capital City Classic 5K Road Race and 1-Mile Fun Run on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at ORMC, 821 N. Cobb Street, Milledgeville, GA . Former UGA quarterback David Greene (2001-2004) will serve as the Honorary Chairman for this event. The 1-Mile Fun Run begins at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K Road Race begins at 8 a.m. The run/walk will start and finish on the ORMC campus and run on paved streets nearby. The course will be an out and back.
Entry fees:
* $20 for pre-registered runners (By May 5, 2010)
* $18 for senior citizen runners
* $25 for race day registration
* $15 per person for groups/schools/clubs of 12 or more who register together
* $60 for a family of 4 or more
Macon Tracks members receive $1 off when pre-registering. This race qualifies as part of the Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Race Series (points guaranteed). Proceeds from the race will benefit the ORMC walking track improvement initiative.
Prizes for the 1-Mile Fun Run will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place only. 5K prizes will be given for Overall Male and Female, and top three male and female in standard age categories.
