New Therapies in Wound Healing
Oconee Regional Medical Center is pleased to offer a New Therapies in Wound Healing seminar provided by Dr. Harinder Brar, MD, Medical Director for the Wound Healing Center. This seminar will be held on Thursday, February 18th at 6:00 p.m. in the Park Tower Education Center at Oconee Regional Medical Center. This event is free and open to the public.
Dr. Brar will cover the latest therapeutic methods in wound management and highlight likely candidates for these specialized therapies. With the rising rate of diabetes, there is a great need for a specialized care with ulcers associated with the disease. If you or your loved one has experienced a sore that won’t heal for more than 30 days or a sore with increasing pain, redness or swelling, foul odor, a change of color, or a surgical wound that has become infected, this seminar will give you a greater understanding of the newest treatments available.
