Position Title: Director Surgical Services

Department:Surgical Services
Position Description: Assumes administrative responsibility for all functions of their assigned area(s) on a 24-hour basis. Implements the mission, goals and standards for BRHS and Patient Care Services (PCS) within the defined area(s) of responsibility, coordinates activities between defined areas and provides clinical and administrative leadership and expertise. Facilitates an atmosphere of participative management and the development of collegial relationships among staff and other members of health care team.

    Qualifications:
    Education:ADN required; MSN preferred
    Experience:3-5 years perioperative experience required. Supervisory experience required.
    License Required:Licensed RN in the State of Texas. Current BCLS certification.
