Position Title: DB/Programmer Analyst

Department:MIS
Position Description: The DB/Programmer Analyst works under the direction of the Director of MIS and supports our MSSQL 200/2005/2008 production servers with some minor development projects. Manges SQL code to implement business logic and database maintenance. Performs database tuning and troubleshooting. Participates in the design and implementation of a data access layer as needed.

    Qualifications:
    Education:Associates degree in Information Technology field required. Bachelor Degree in Information Technology field preferred.
    Experience:3 yrs experience performing database administration and T-SQL report building in a business environment required.Experience with SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 designing databases and implementing simple database applications (transactional and/or data warehouse) .
    Experience with SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Reporting Services.
    Very good knowledge of T-SQL and Microsoft database tools.
    Experience with database administration in a production or development environment.
    Experience with distributed applications.
    Special Skills:Capable of operating without close supervision on many programming and maintenance activities.
