Brazosport Regional and Brazosport College Team Up Again to Offer 3rd Annual Women’s Health Conference
March 22, 2012 – As community partners, Brazosport Regional Health System and Brazosport College Community Education Center are partnering to provide health education and resources to local women. As primary caregivers, women deliver the message of health to their families, thus the conference has the potential to educate and provide health resources not only to the participants, but to the entire Southern Brazoria County. Health System Launches New Lung Cancer Screening
March 5, 2012 – Brazosport Regional Health System is offering a new low-cost screening program to help patients who are at risk for lung cancer. The program is designed to screen current and former heavy smokers for lung cancer more effectively and offer them a chance to receive a diagnosis and treatment at its earliest stages. BRHS Host Annual Prostate Cancer Screening
September 12, 2011 – In recognition of Prostate Cancer Awareness month, Brazosport Regional Health System will host their annual screening for prostate cancer on Friday, September 30th between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Brazosport Regional Cancer Center in Lake Jackson. Women’s Health Conference
May 11, 2011 – Together, Brazosport Regional Health System and Brazosport College are hosting Brazoria County’s Second Annual Women’s Health Conference. Foundation Announces Funds Raised for Fashion Fantasy
April 15, 2011 – Brazosport Health Foundation announced today that they were able to raise over $20,000 at Fashion Fantasy: Passport to Paris, an event to raise funds for The Mermaid Project, a program that provides free breast education and breast healthcare to medically underserved men and women in Southern Brazoria County. Foundation Announces Keynote Speaker for Fashion Fantasy
March 29, 2011 – In just one week, the Lake Jackson Civic Center will be transformed to a French Bistro for the 3rd biennial fundraiser, Fashion Fantasy: Passport to Paris. As the only fundraising event of the year for the Brazosport Health Foundation, Fashion Fantasy will raise funds for The Mermaid Project, a program that provides free breast education and breast healthcare to medically underserved men and women in Southern Brazoria County. BRHS Celebrates National Wear Red Day
February 15, 2011 – On Friday, February 4th, Brazosport Regional Health System celebrated National Wear Red Day by asking everyone to wear RED. The GO RED for women campaign is sponsored by the American Heart Association and is used to bring awareness to heart disease in women. According to the American Heart Association, heart disease is the number one killer of women, taking the life of one in three women every year. Click here to read more.
Fashion Fantasy: Passport to Paris
February 11, 2011 – Bonjour! Trendy fashions and styles are headed down the runway this April, but you don’t have to go to New York or Paris to see them. The lights, music and fast-paced action can be found at the 3rd biennial Fashion Fantasy: Passport to Paris at the Lake Jackson Civic Center on Friday, April 8 at five o’clock in the evening.
