Brazosport Regional Health System Laboratory is a full-service laboratory that is accredited by the College of American Pathologists, American Association of Blood Banks and Joint Commission.
Laboratory Services’ main function is to provide a wide-range of laboratory testing on blood and body fluids for the communities we serve. For our patients’ convenience, we have a courier that picks up specimens daily from surrounding physicians’ offices and delivers them to the laboratory, resulting in speedy delivery of test results.
Our staff works together to ensure that our patients receive high-quality services from certified technicians and technologists. Our team consists of:

Our lab features top of the line equipment and offers comprehensive diagnostic, prognostic and monitoring services including:
Patients seen on an outpatient basis with lab orders only are served at the lab in the front lobby of the hospital. Outpatients with orders for multiple procedures (X-rays, EKG, etc.) can report to the draw site in Diagnostic Services on the back side of the hospital.
Brazosport Regional Laboratory Services provides precise analysis of laboratory specimens with consistent turn-around-time due to the collaboration of an experienced laboratory medicine staff. In addition, our lab offers direct access to a Pathologist during normal business hours. Approximately, 70% of medical decisions are based on lab results.
