Physician at Brazosport Regional Health System Voted Top Doctor

 Adam Corley, MD, Medical Director of Emergency Services at Brazosport Regional Health System, was recently voted Top Doctor by H Texas Magazine, a publication that defines the unique Houston experience.
To be selected as a Top Doctor, H Texas Magazine sends ballots to their readers and other past featured professionals asking them to vote for the doctor they think is one of the best in Houston. After the votes are received, H Texas Magazine reviews the physicians’ years in practice, continuing education, affiliations, and ensures the doctor has a clean disciplinary record. Lastly, they choose the top 2% of the most qualified physicians and the list is published in the H Texas Magazine.
In addition to serving as the Medical Director of Emergency Services at Brazosport Regional, Dr. Corley serves as a Regional Medical Director in EmCare’s Southwest Region. He received his medical degree from University of Texas in Houston and completed his residency program at the affiliated hospital at UT Houston. Dr. Corley is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Additionally, since August 2008, he is the Medical Director for Lake Jackson EMS.
Brazosport Regional offers comprehensive emergency services to people of all ages 24 hours, 365 days a year and they are the largest provider of emergency services in Brazoria County, serving approximately 33,000 patients annually. The turnaround time from the moment a patient walks into the ER is 33% lower than the national average. In addition, they are the only group in the Houston area who uses all board-certified emergency nurse practitioners.
“I am grateful for this recognition, it’s GREAT to know that some of my patients took the time to vote,” said Dr. Corley. “This is the first time H Texas took into count EMERGENCY services, which makes the recognition more monumental.”
