BRENTWOOD, Tenn., June 15 Demonstration Hospital today announced the election of Stephanie Thomas, R.N., to its board of directors.

     Thomas is a Professor at the Any Town School of Nursing in Any Town, U.S. She holds a Bachelor's of Nursing from Southtown University, a Master's in Nursing from Northern-West University, a Ph.D. in Nursing from Any State University and an honorary Doctorate in Humanities from Another State University. She is a certified nurse-midwife and trained at
the Maternity Institute in Some Town, ST, as part of her Master's studies.

     "Ms. Thomas' comprehensive experience and thorough understanding of the healthcare industry will bring a unique and valuable perspective to our board of directors," said John Smith, MBA, ACHE, President and Chief Executive Officer of Demonstration Hospital.

     Thomas is a member of the board of directors of CompanyName, a member of the Healthcare Leadership Group Committee of Governors, the AnyState Board of Nursing, the Governor's StateCare Operational Roundtable and a founding member of Friends of the State Institute for Nurse Research, State Institute of Health.

     Other board memberships include Bank of AnyTown and American Nurses' Network.

     In the community, Thomas chairs the AnyState Symphony Board of Directors and serves on the advisory boards of Volunteer Group of AnyState and the Women's Fund of the AnyState Community Foundation. She is also a member of the board of directors for the AnyState Health Management Foundation / Aids Care Center, the AnyState Humane Society and chairs the AnyState Rotary Foundation Allocation Committee.
